This walk-through may be able to
help you with some issues regarding
the shopping cart. The most common
issue is that items are not showing
up in the cart. With today's
security over the internet, it's no
wonder this is happening. It can be
anything from a security program you
are running, or even your internet
security settings being too high.
We can help you with the most common
problem. Cookies. The little thing
that tells us that you are a
separate shopper from the next
person. We need those to tell you
apart from everyone else. Lets take
the first step in trying to fix this
problem for you.
TO ENABLE COOKIES
In most cases, it's advised that you
close your browser after make the
necessary changes, and then restart
it to ensure the changes take
effect.
A new window will open for each
option.
If you use
Internet Explorer follow these
steps:

Now if you still don't see the items
in your cart, or maybe you only see
one item, when you know you've added
a second item, it could be that your
browser doesn't know that changes
have been made to that page. Follow
these instructions to try and fix
that problem for you:
TO ENABLE RECENT PAGE VIEW
This will make sure that your
browser shows you THE MOST RECENT
page of what you are trying to view.
Select your browser

If you use Internet Explorer
follow these steps:
At the top of your browser click
"Tools"
Click "Internet Options"
In the "Temporary Internet files"
section, click the "Settings" button
At the top of that window, MAKE SURE
the selection of "Every visit to the
page" IS CHECKED.
Click "OK"
Click "OK"
If you use AOL follow
these steps:
AOL 7.0
Click the Teal Settings tab.
Go to Preferences.
Click the Internet Properties (WWW)
link. This will open a new window.
In new window, under Temporary
Internet files, click Settings.
Make sure Check for newer versions
of stored pages is set to every
visit to the page.
Click OK in the Settings window.
Click OK in the Internet Options
window.
Close AOL's Preferences window.
AOL 5.0 - 6.0
Click My AOL on the Dark Green tab.
Go to Preferences.
Click the WWW icon.
In new window, under Temporary
Internet files, click Settings.
Make sure Check for newer versions
of stored pages is set to every
visit to the page.
Click OK in the Settings window.
Click OK in the AOL Internet
Properties window.
Close AOL's Preferences window.
If you use Netscape
follow these steps:
Navigator 4.X - 7.X
Click on the Edit menu on the task
bar.
Go to Preferences.
Click on the + symbol next to
Advanced.
Click on the word Cache.
Make sure Document in cache is
compared to document on network is
set to Every Time (In Netscape 6:
Every time I view the page).
Click OK.
Navigator 3.X
Click on the Options menu on the
task bar.
Go to Network Preferences.
Click on the Cache tab.
Make sure Verify Document is set to
Every Time.
Click OK.
There are other issues that may be
occurring if you use a third party
internet security program, or your
firewall that may be causing you not
to view the pages correctly. For
those programs, you will need to
view the "Help" files that come with
those programs. |
